​PTO IS ABOUT ORGANIZATION, NOT SOLICITATION
​Many parents fear that their role in a PTO group will be to solicit fundraising donations from community members. This just isn’t the case. Parents aren’t expected to be fundraisers. They’re expected to be members, supporters, volunteers, and proud parents working for the benefit of all students in the district.

2024-2025 PTo member at large
​position available

A member At Large would assume two of the following jobs.  They would not need to attend executive meetings and could opt in to PTO Leadership texts if desired.  BE "in the know" with minimal commitment!

• Schoolwide Valentines- Order, compile, and organize distribution of schoolwide valentines in February
• Beautification- Order supplies for school beautification that happens 3 times a year (pine straw, flowers, etc).  Help get donations to school. ​​

•  Lunch Duty Coordinator-  Work with school leadership to pick one duty free lunch date per month.  Attend each date to help supervise and direct volunteers.
• Holiday Cookie Exchange-  Create a sign up for the December Staff cookie exchange, set up cookies for staff to collect.

• Haunted Trail (evening trick or treat even in October)​

• Penguin Patch
• Yearbook (mostly photographers and/or cell -phone photographers are welcome!)

LOVE FUNDRAISING?

​We are also seeking a fundraising person to routinely ask local businesses/churches/volunteer clubs for donations towards staff lunches/teacher appreciation events.
